Part 2; Pgs. 216-234

I have to say that some of this book goes very smoothly.  Or maybe it's just my mood.  Whatever it is, tonight it was easy to read a big chunk.  I hadn't noticed before how radically it changes section by section -- I wish I'd known, or I wish the chapters were numbered, though I suppose to the former I could say I know now, and will know next time I read the book, and to the latter, I can hardly claim to believe that I know better than James Joyce how to write a book.
