Today is National Duck Day

(via Eddplant on Tumblr) National Duck Day, June 15, is an annual national holiday celebrating ducks.  Since its founding in 2012, it has achieved widespread recognition[1. 1,176 notes on tumblr as of writing] and is recognized as one of the most important holidays on the Internet Annual Calendar[2. I assume.].

You can celebrate National Duck Day by going to a pond and feeding the ducks some bread, or by baking something duck-shaped, which is a great way to celebrate other national holidays, as well.  It's also appropriate to wear yellow, or a sweater with a mallard on it.  It is considered grossly disrespectful to make a meal of ducks on this day.[3. I made everything in this paragraph up.]
