I realized earlier today that I haven't picked a charity for my debt list for May. Basically, I have no money. But I don't like the idea of not being in the habit of charitable giving, so I've started a list, in which I'm adding 5 dollars of charity debt every month, or 5% of my total income, whichever is greater, which I intend to pay off to the listed organizations. Once I'm out of debt, I'll start making payments.
This month, I choose Amnesty International. I think it'd be hard to argue that they're one of the most valuable and vital organizations acting in the world today, and they deserve more money.
