Stuff.

I'm late.  It's half past midnight, I have a headache, and as soon as I'm done this, and working on my short story, I'm going to bed to get some shreds of sleep before going to work tomorrow. Anyway, here's some cool stuff I've seen on the internet tonight:

8 min. Trailer, "Miss Representation," a documentary about the portrayal of women in the media.

"Ground Rules," a talk by Adam Savage about succeeding as a maker.

Crash Course: US History: America in World War I

There's stuff I'd love to talk about, but I really don't have it in me right now to seriously address the concepts in a way they deserve, and I'm worried about what I might accidentally say if I fall short of my communication goals.  Mainly stuff about sexual selection that came up in my biology class, and about whether humans are still exposed to evolutionary forces -- you know, the whole category of thought used by people who identify as intellectuals to justify their misogyny.

For now, I'm going to go work on my short story, then go to bed.
