Filling up the summer with un-boring things

When I got home this afternoon, I laid down on my bed, and I woke up at 7 p.m. Prior to that, I had not eaten. Just now, I ate for the first time today, and I'm slowly starting to feel better, but I'm still having trouble putting words together in my head. One of my professors reminded me a couple days ago, in an email, that books are a thing that exist, and that I can use to help limit my boredom over the summer. I had, honestly, actually forgotten that -- that reading books was a thing that would fit easily into my life this summer, given my free time and free mental energy.

She recommended Tom Robbins, so I'm going to try a book by him. I am also open to recommendations right now.
