So this, it seems, is what happens when I take a week off -- I completely forget about the blog after keeping up the schedule for exactly one day.
That's not entirely true -- I did remember, intermittently throughout the day, that I had a blog post to write. But it just kept not being the first thing on my mind, and then eventually (I think around 10) I thought of it one last time before 2 a.m.
I'm upset that the line of posts in my blog's calendar isn't going to have one clean missing streak, but nonetheless I'm going to write this post tonight and another tomorrow, rather than take my usual position of "Oh well, missed the window, guess I skipped today."
I'm not sure what exactly it's going to take to get back to a place where my blog is more than links to videos and posts that say "This is what my blog is like today," but whatever it is, that's where I want to be for the summer. I may (may) even remove my self-granted permission to use my vlog as two out of the five posts a week.
I'm in the process of transitioning to a new bullet journal, too, so my life is an organizational muddle in different ways than it was last week. But that's a topic for another day. (Because I'm tired. It's 2 a.m.)
